GUADALUPE MEN'S VOCATION DISCERNMENT HOUSE

Applicants for Guadalupe Men's Vocation Discernment House are currently being accepted.

Residents will live at a house on Chestnut St. while Guadalupe House is being restored. The Chestnut house includes 4 bedrooms, 1½ baths, prayer space, kitchen, living room, and laundry.

A portion of the men's volunteer work is assisting in the cleanup and restoration of Guadalupe House, following the guidelines which city and county code have in place for volunteer labor.

They also assist in raising awareness of the discernment houses and in the CFP Holy Angels Gift Shop whose profits help support the Vocation Houses.

When Guadalupe House was vacant under previous ownership, it suffered severe water damage from a burst pipe.

When the restoration is completed, Guadalupe House will have 8 bedrooms, 3½ bathrooms, kitchen (plus 2 kitchenettes), living spaces, dining room, recreation room, library, laundry room, chapel, parlor, air conditioning, and internet.

Help restore this 90-year-old house to a pristine condition and assist in creating the house chapel dedicated to 1000 priests. Mary, Mother of Priests Chapel needs your help!

Guadalupe House is currently under repair.
